Croquembouche ( French croquembouche ) is a French dessert, which is a high cone made of profiteroles stuffed with caramel or special sweet sauce and decorated with caramel threads, candied almonds, fruits, candied flowers . It is used as a treat in wedding ceremonies, at baptism, at Christmas [1] .

The name comes from fr. croquer en bouche , which means "crunches in the mouth."
