History

The foundation date of the park is called 1895 , when the Tarasovka stop station appeared near the village. At the same time, merchants and manufacturers begin to gather in the village, and Cherkizovo becomes a favorite place for summer residents. They also liked the pine forest, located north of the village in the floodplain of the Klyazma River . A cleared and well-maintained forest with summer houses built on the banks of the river, with paths, playgrounds and baths built on Klyazma began to resemble a park, later nicknamed Cherkizovsky.

At the beginning of the 20th century, part of the western side of the park was occupied by a cemetery at the Church of the Intercession , in the construction of which local manufacturers invested money.

As in the 19th century , so in the 20th century the park seemed to “attract” summer residents. Pretty famous people come here to relax, and each in his own way helps to improve the territory of the boron. At the beginning of the 20th century , the manufacturer Dmitry Petrovich Bakhrushin , who lived in the neighborhood, also made a lot of efforts to equip the park.

1920s

In the 1920s, the owners of cottages were forced to leave their possessions. Their houses were adapted for hostels, distributed to the Bolsheviks and revolutionaries. For some time, engineer Aismont lived in Mochalov’s cottage, where the Znamensky brothers rented a room. At the cottages of Pechatnov and Kozlov, they placed a people's house and a music college. Chelnokova's dacha began to serve as an apartment building, here Dmitry Kedrin originally rented a room in Cherkizovo .

Current status

The cottages of merchants and manufacturers are adapted for residential buildings. Almost no new houses are being built here. Today, the park remains a favorite place for local residents, including children.
