About the album
The main producer of the album was Trevor Horn , whose legendary song, " Video Killed the Radio Star ", was played out in the title of the album. The album does not contain hits, except for "Bodies"; Despite this, the album returned Robbie Williams to the first lines of the charts.
The word "Deceptacon" refers to girls who at first glance (thanks to makeup, or lighting, or the drunken state of the beholder) seem beautiful, but in fact they are not.
The album was presented in London on October 20, 2009 as part of the BBC Electric Proms. The concert was shown live in 200 European cinemas live, and a few weeks later in Australia , Mexico , South Africa .
Reality Killed the Video Star has sold 1,000,000 in the singer’s homeland and around 3,000,000 worldwide.
