HP iPAQ hx4700

HP iPAQ hx4700 - a computer based on the Intel PXA270 processor with a clock frequency of 624 MHz ; Equipped with 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of permanent flash memory . In addition, the user has access to the built-in flash drive iPAQ File Store with a capacity of 80 MB. Hx4700 is equipped with a touch screen with a resolution of VGA (480 × 640 pixels), displaying 64 thousand shades of color. Of communications, there are Wi-Fi 802.11b, Bluetooth and infrared , there are also slots for flash cards of the Secure Digital standard (with support for SDIO and MMC) and Compact Flash type II. The device has a built-in microphone, speaker and headphone output. It runs the Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition operating system. In 2005, an official update to Windows Mobile 5 was released. A distinctive feature of this model is the use of a touchpad instead of the traditional joystick, which is more typical for laptops. Such a decision in the field of handheld personal computers was applied for the first time and can be considered quite controversial, due to the fact that for a number of applications, for example, for some games, using the touchpad is not very convenient.
