Garam Masala
Masala ( Hindi मसाला ); ( Beng. মশলা ); ( Urdu مصالہ) is the Indian name for a mixture of spices , there are mixtures for the oven tandyr (tandoori masala), for spicy dishes (garam masala) and so on. Almost all types of masala contain pepper and other hot spices. In addition to "dry" mixtures consisting of spices, there are masalas in the form of pastes, usually containing ingredients such as ginger and cardamom .
