Valery Yurievich Andreev (June 14, 1955 , Moscow - February 15, 1998 ) - a famous Soviet sound engineer . He recorded dozens of compositions for rock bands , theater shows and performances . He had a great influence on the development of sound recording technology in the USSR . He participated in the recordings of many famous Soviet and Russian rock musicians of the 1970s - 1990s.

Professional Activities
V. Andreev also actively participated in the recordings of albums of many other rock groups and projects, such as the Araks group , the Cruise group , the Sunday group , the SV group , the funny guys group , the Lenkom theater, rock album "Banana Islands" and others.
Some compositions and albums were recorded personally by Valery Andreev, for example, songs by the Lenkom Theater and the SV group.
Work with performers
Valery worked as a sound engineer both in the studio and at live concerts. Reviews of his professionalism were always in excellent degree and were made by such performers as:
- The SV group and Alexander Lerman [1] .
- The group "Cruise" and "Funny guys" [2] .
- Groups “Dr. Agranovsky ” and “ Black bread ” [3] .
In addition, V. Andreev took part in the creation of the rock album “Banana Islands”, recorded by Yuri Chernavsky and Vladimir Matetskiy , with the participation of the group “Jolly Fellows”, in late 1982 - early 1983.
Work at the Lenkom Theater
Andreev worked for Lenkom for many years. He enjoyed authority in matters of studio sound engineering and the organization of the sound design of performances. He was the permanent leader of the sound department of the theater.
Memory
The unexpected death of Valery found a response among Russian rock artists, who organized several events in Moscow in memory of Valery Andreyev:
- The concert dedicated to the memory of Nikolai Shirokov, Sergei Ryzhov, Evgeny Kazantsev and Valery Andreev [4] .
- Recording by the SV group of the album “Everything is good” [5] .
