He began to play chess at the age of 6. Repeated winner and medalist of the Czech chess championships among juniors in various age categories:
- Gold: 1997 (up to 10 years), 1998, 1999 (up to 12 years);
- Silver: 2001 (up to 18 years old).
Bronze medalist at the European Junior Chess Championship ( Herceg Novi , 2005, under 18 years old).
Champion of the Czech Republic (2006). The Czech national team is a participant in the 5th Olympic Games (2006-2014) and the 6th European Team Championships (2007-2017).
