Biography
Pupil SDYUSSHOR Ufa sports club named after Salavat Yulaev (coach M. M. Azamatov ).
He played as defender and striker in the clubs "Salavat Yulaev" (1976-1979), CSKA (1979-1987).
From 1987 to 1991 he played for the Japanese Oji Seishi, a three-time champion of Japan [1] . Then the season 1991/1992 spent for the Slovenian club Olympia (Ljubljana) .
He graduated from the Ufa Petroleum Institute .
In 2001-2002 - head coach of PHC CSKA. Then he worked as a coach at the CSKA school.
Since January 2006 - Deputy Minister of Health in the Government of the Kaliningrad Region .
In March 2010, he was appointed Minister-Head (Director) of the Sports Agency of the Kaliningrad Region [2] . In September 2010, resigned of his own free will [3] .
He is currently a member of the Board and curator of the North-West Conference of the Night Hockey League, leading activities to develop amateur hockey.

- World Champion 1979 , 1982 , 1983 . Bronze medalist of the World Ice Hockey Championship 1985 . In World Cup games - 26 matches, 5 goals.

Family
Married, the eldest son Marat is professionally engaged in ballroom dancing, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, three-time world champion paired with Alina Basyuk (completed a competitive career in 2017) [4] . In recent years, the couple lives in New York, engaged in pedagogical activities. The youngest son plays (in mid-2007) in the amateur league for the championship of the North-Western District of Moscow.
