Residential zone - a territorial zone in the village, used to house residential buildings, as well as social and community facilities, health facilities, general education, parking lots of motor vehicles, garages and other objects related to the residence of citizens (Section 5, Article. 85 RF Code).
Residential zone - according to the Rules of the road of the Russian Federation - the territory , the entrances and exits to which are marked with road signs 5.21 "Residential zone" and 5.22 "End of residential zone" and which are subject to the requirements of the Traffic Regulations of the Russian Federation, establishing the order of movement in a residential zone. [1] The requirements of Section 17 of the Traffic Regulations of the Russian Federation also apply to courtyards.
Content
Residential Movement
In residential areas, pedestrians are allowed to move both along sidewalks and across the entire width of the roadway. [2] The maximum speed of vehicles in the residential area is 20 km / h. [3] When leaving the residential area, drivers must give way to other road users.
Forbidden
In residential areas is prohibited:
- Through traffic;
- Training ride ;
- Parking with the engine running.
- Parking of trucks with a permitted maximum weight of more than 3.5 tons outside designated and marked road signs and (or) marking places. [four]
