Geography
The department is located in the southwest of the province of Santa Fe .
Department borders:
- in the north - with the department of San Martin
- in the northeast - with the department of San Jeronimo
- in the east - with the department of Iridondo
- in the south - with the department of Caseros
- in the west - with the province of Cordoba
Economics
Belgrano is an agricultural department, the basis is agriculture - production of soy , wheat , corn , sorghum and sunflower , fodder crops. In livestock farming, the basis is cattle , meat and dairy, and the poultry farm has recently developed.
