Daduhe [1] ( Chinese р渡河 大渡河 , Pinyin : Dàdù hé , lit. “Big Crossing”) is a river in China .

The Daduhe River is a tributary of the Minjiang River in Sichuan . The river is 1155 kilometers long, its basin covers an area of 92 thousand km². It flows in the west of Sichuan, where it flows into Minjiang, which, in turn, is a tributary of the Yangtze . On the Daduhe River is a famous monument of Chinese architecture, the Ludin Bridge .
During the great earthquake in southern Sichuan in 1786, a natural dam formed on the Daduhe River as a result of a landslide, which was broken by water on June 10, 1786. Washed away all the graying along the river, while about 100 thousand people died.
Currently, the Daganshan Hydroelectric Power Station is under construction on this river, which is planned to be commissioned in 2014 .
