Stavrovsky Mikhail Sergeevich (born April 7, 1950 , Cherepovets , Vologda Oblast , USSR ) is a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Vologda Oblast from the Industrial single-mandate constituency No. 6 of the city of Cherepovets. Elected Chairman of the Standing Committee on Ecology and Nature Management. Prior to this, from 2006 to 2011 - Director of SBC OJSC Severstal , from 1996 to 2006 - Mayor of the city of Cherepovets .

Biography
In 1972 he graduated from the Leningrad Forestry Academy named after S. M. Kirov , majoring in engineering engineer.
In 1973, externally passed the exams at the Voroshilovgrad Higher Military Aviation School for navigators in the specialty "aircraft navigation", and until 1975 served as a navigator for long-range aviation of the Northern Fleet .
Since 1975, he worked in a civilian specialty, and headed the Cherepovetsles forestry association.
From 1987 to 1990 - Work in the party organs of the city of Cherepovets .
From 1991 to 1996, he headed the administration of the Cherepovets region .
In 1996, he was first elected mayor of the city of Cherepovets. In 2000 and 2003, he was re-elected to this post for the second and third time.
From December 2006 to January 2011 - Director of SBC OJSC Severstal
Since January 2011 - Advisor to the General Director of CherMK OJSC Severstal [1]
In December 2011, he was elected to the Vologda Oblast Legislative Assembly . At the session of the Legislative Assembly (December 14, 2011) he was appointed chairman of the standing committee of the Legislative Assembly of the region on ecology and nature management [2]
