Description
βThe flag of Chistopol region is a rectangular panel with a 2: 3 ratio of width to length, divided into three unequal horizontal stripes - blue, white and green (9: 2: 9 ratio) and bearing a yellow image of the bread measure in the center - four.β
Justification of Symbols
The flag of Chistopol municipal district is based on the historical emblem of the county town of Chistopol, Kazan province, approved on October 18 (29), 1781 , the true description of which reads:
βIn the upper part of the shield is the coat of arms of Kazan. In the lower one there is a golden, stigmatized four in a green field, in sign of the fact that in all seven new cities a great bargain is being made for all kinds of bread β.
The district center, the city of Chistopol, got its name in 1781, when the village of Chistoe Pole (Arkhangelsk Sloboda), founded at the beginning of the 18th century, received the status of the county town of Kazan governorship (since 1796 - the province).
The central figure of the districtβs flag (a bread measure for selling grain) symbolically reflects its historical heritage, which is associated with the national significance of Chistopol in the grain trade. The stigma in the form of a double-headed eagle symbolized the state importance of grain supplies, honesty and integrity. Yellow color (gold) is a symbol of harvest, wealth, stability, respect and intelligence.
The color scheme of the flag symbolizes the unique natural wealth of the area on the territory of which is located the State Natural Complex Reserve "Clean Meadows". The green part symbolically reflects the name of the district - Chistopolsky. Green is a symbol of spring, health, nature, fertility.
Small rivers are depicted with a silver stripe. White color (silver) - symbolizes clarity, openness, reconciliation, innocence. The main natural heritage of the region - the Kama River - is symbolically displayed on the flag in blue. The blue color is a symbol of exalted aspirations, honor, glory, devotion, immortality.
