Lee Haney ( born November 11, 1959 , Spartanburg, South Carolina , USA ) is an American bodybuilder , eight-time holder of the title “Mr. Olympia” .

Biography
Lee began training from school, and won his first big tournament in 1979 , at the age of 19 - “Mr. America” among teenagers. Not stopping there, Lee wins his first "Mr. Olympia" in 1984 . His last, eighth title , Mr. Olympia, Lee wins in 1991 . The same success was achieved by Ronnie Coleman fourteen years later, in 2005 .
Lee has long been out of bodybuilding tournaments, but continues to do business. He owns two gyms in Atlanta . Lee is a teacher and trainer , he works with many world athletes .
President Bill Clinton appointed Lee Haney as Chair of the Presidential Council for Physical Culture and Sports in December 1998 . He was also a member of the International Federation of Bodybuilders ( International Federaion of BodyBuilders, IFBB ).

Personal life
Lee Haney and his wife live in Fayette County , Georgia . They have two children who are currently in college .
Haney Craving
During his training, the great Lee Haney invented a special exercise designed to pump the back of the deltoid muscles. This exercise is called the Haney Thrust. One of the most effective exercises for working out the back delta. The execution technique is reminiscent of “Shrugs,” however, the bar is located behind and when it is pulled upwards, the arms are more bent at the elbows.
