“Jumpin 'Jack Flash” ( flash of Jack the Jumper ) is a song by the British rock band The Rolling Stones , released by the single in 1968 [2] . Critics regarded the song as a return to the blues roots after the baroque pop and psychedelica of their previous albums. The song, which is one of the most popular and recognizable compositions of the group, was used as a soundtrack in many films. Included in the collections of The Rolling Stones Through the Past, Darkly (Big Hits Vol. 2) , Hot Rocks , Singles Collection , Forty Licks , etc. Today it is the band's most frequently performed song, they performed it about 1,100 times at concerts.
