Description
The hat is 3-5 cm in diameter, flat-convex, then depressed and funnel-shaped, often radially lined along the edge, hygrophanous, light beige or brownish in color.
The plates are usually quite frequent, descending to the stem, grayish.
Leg 3-6 cm long and 0.4-0.8 cm thick, pale brown, bare, cylindrical, with an extended pubescent base.
The flesh is whitish or grayish, thin, without any particular taste or smell.
Spore powder is white. Spores 5-7 Γ 3-4 microns, elliptic, slightly asymmetric, non-amyloid , 4 in each on basidia . Cystides are absent.
The pale-colored talker is considered an inedible fungus, some sources classify it as a poisonous species.
Ecology
Govorushka prefers broad-leaved forests, usually grows singly or in small groups.
