Prewar Biography
Abdurakhman Yagyaevich Abdulaev was born on November 15, 1919 in the village of Mutsalaul, now Khasavyurt district of Dagestan .
After graduating from the seven classes, Abdurakhman Abdulaev worked in the farm.
Participation in wars
Abdurakhman Abdulaev was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army in 1939 .
Participated in the Soviet-Finnish war .
Abdurakhman Abdulaev joined the ranks of the CPSU in 1944 .
On May 7, 1944, in the area of Sevastopol, senior sergeant Abdurakhman Abdulaev conducted reconnaissance of the firing points of the Nazis. Under the fire of the Nazis, Abdurakhman Abdulaev destroyed the enemy bunker , which allowed the company to seize enemy trenches.
During the battle, senior sergeant Abdurakhman Abdulaev replaced the wounded platoon commander. Under the command of Abdurakhman Abdulaev, a platoon broke through the front line of the defense of the Nazis, repelled enemy counterattacks, and advanced to the second trench line. In this battle, Abdurakhman Abdulaev destroyed several opponents in a melee battle.
The decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated March 24, 1945 for courage, bravery and heroism shown in the struggle against the German fascist invaders, senior sergeant Abdurakhman Yagyaevich Abdulaev was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal .
Post War Biography
At the end of 1945, Abdurakhman Abdulaev was demobilized and returned to his homeland. There he worked in the Aksai irrigation management system.
