Uhoutsy ( Chinese trad. 武侯祠 , pinyin : wǔhóucí , pall .: U-hou qi , literally: “the temple of Ulyansky hou”) is a memorial complex dedicated to the Shu kingdom of the Three Kingdoms era , and first of all to the prime minister of the Shu kingdom, wise Zhuge Liang , and Emperor Liu Bei . The complex includes a large park, ornamental gardens and ponds, the grave of Liu Bei, temples and exhibition halls. This is one of the oldest memorials in the southwest of central Chengdu , the main city of Sichuan, China. .

The central temple of the complex was erected at the beginning of the 4th century, during the Cheng era of the period of Sixteen Kingdoms , and was dedicated to Zhuge Liang , who received the title of Ulyansky Hou (武 鄉侯) from Liu Bei.
During the Qing Dynasty , in 1672, the temple was completely restored [ specify ] .
There are many sculptures in the temple, in particular, 28 generals and officials of the Shu state, whose character features are indicated on their faces with various colors.
Along with the temple, the complex also includes the Lotus Pond with pavilions and the Liu Bei Temple, which was included in the general complex during the Ming Empire .
The pavilions present an exhibition devoted to the era of the Three Kingdoms . There is also a demonstration of antique clothes and musical instruments.
Since 1991, Ukhuets has been included in the list of Protected Monuments of China .
