The early years
Elizabeth Hurley was born in , Hampshire , England. Her father is Roy Leonard Hurley, a Protestant official; mother - Angela Hurley ( maiden name - Titt), a Catholic, a school teacher. She has an older sister - Kate Hurley and a younger brother - Michael James Hurley. Hurley graduated from London Studio Center , where she studied dance and theater. After Hurley, she worked in the theater and on television.
Career
In the movie, Hurley made her debut in Bruce Beresford 's film " Aria " (1987). In 1988, after filming the miniseries , where Elizabeth starred (1988), she starred in several European films. On the set of 1987 , Elizabeth began an affair with actor Hugh Grant , whom she had met 13 years before they parted in May 2000 [1] .
Hurley's Hollywood debut was the film Passenger 57 (1992), starring Wesley Snipes . Despite the popularity of the film, this role did not bring Hurley the proper attention of the producers and directors, and there were no proposals for standing roles. Hurley was disappointed and decided to return to her native England . Soon her popularity began to grow, partly due to her relationship with Hugh Grant, as well as representing her as a model in the highest cosmetics house of Estée Lauder Companies .
In 1994, Elizabeth, along with Hugh Grant, founded the film company Simian Films (in partnership with Castle Rock Entertainment ). Their first joint project was the medical thriller Extreme Measures (1996) with a star cast: with Hugh Grant, Gene Hackman and Sarah Jessica Parker . Hurley worked on this film as a producer. Later, several more of her work as a producer followed. Since then, Elizabeth has starred in several successful films, but one of her most successful and famous works remains the role of the attractive devil in the film Blinded by Desires (2000).
In 2015, Hurley starred in the soap opera Royal Family Members .
Personal life
For 13 years (1987–2000), Hurley was married to actor Hugh Grant .
In 2007 [2] —2011 [3] Hurley was married to businessman Arun Nayar.
Hurley has a son - Damian Charles Hurley (born April 4, 2002) [4] , whose father is her former fiancé - businessman (born 1965) [5] .
Hurley is the godmother of the son of Liam Gallagher and Patsy Kensit - Lennon Gallagher (born 1999) and two sons David and Victoria Beckham - Brooklyn (born 1999) and Romeo (born 2002) [6] .
In October 2011, Hurley announced her engagement to cricketer [7]
