Khurzærin ( Zarya ) is the largest and oldest Ossetian political newspaper published in South Ossetia . It comes out 5 times a week. Circulation - 1700 copies [1] .

The newspaper highlights the social, economic and political aspects of life in South Ossetia. Materials on the language and culture of Ossetians are published.
The newspaper has been published since January 1, 1924 under the name Khurzurin. In 1932 it was renamed into "Communist", and in 1957 - into "Soveton Iryston" (Soviet Ossetia). In 1975, the circulation was 13 thousand copies. In 1973, the newspaper was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor [2] .
After the adoption of the act of independence of the Republic in 1992, the newspaper again received its historical name "Khurzurin". Since 1996, the newspaper has been prescribed by residents of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.
In 2011, the newspaper had a website, and in 2014 a new version of the website address appeared.
