History
The University of Paris XIII was created in the early 60s of the XXth on the initiative of the rector of the University of Paris as part of the opening of the third Faculty of Science Saint-Denis- Viltanez. The university was originally called the University Center of Saint-Denis, but later, in the format of the Law Faure reform, during which it was decided to create thirteen autonomous multidisciplinary universities designed to replace the departments of the University of Paris, it was called Paris XIII.
The university was designed by architects Adrian Fainzilberg and Jules Anspach as part of the reconstruction of Viltanez . In the first university building, built in 1970, about 1,500 first-year students studied in such disciplines as law , economics, and humanities in December.
