Sergey Valeryevich Kurakin (born May 7, 1964, Perm) is a soloist of the Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A.S. Pushkin . Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1997).

Biography
In 1982 he graduated from the Perm Choreographic School (class of the teacher, Honored Teacher of the School of Russia VN Tolstukhin). Since 1982 he has been a soloist in the ballet of the Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. A.S. Pushkin. As a member of the theater troupe, he toured in Germany, Mexico, China, Lebanon, Turkey, the USA, South Korea, and Spain. In 1997 he received the title of Honored Artist of Russia. Participant of the 2001 International Competition in Moscow. Teacher, Laureate of the Creative Luck Award (2001).
