The village of Orlovka is located on the left bank of the Oskol river, upstream on the opposite bank is the village of Kamenka , downstream it adjoins the village of Petrovka , on the opposite bank the village of Prioskolye (non-residential), 2 km - the railway station Nezhdanovskaya . The village is surrounded by a large forest tract Limanskie Sands (pine).
