History
The club’s best years were in the 1970s and 1980s, when he was a regular member of the Brazilian Serie A. In total, Londrina spent seven seasons in Serie A. The fourth place in 1977 was the best result. “Londrina” four times became the champion of the state of Parana , which is the best result among the teams of the “second echelon”, after the three traditional “grandees” - “ Coritiba ”, “ Atletico Paranaense ” and “ Parana ” [1] .
In 2017, Londrina won the second draw of the all-Brazilian tournament, the Primera League, defeating Atletico Mineiro in the final (0: 0, 4: 2 in the penalty shootout).
Londrina’s traditional rivals are Gremio Maringa (Londrina and Maringa , the largest cities in Parana after the Curitiba administrative center) and the second team from the city of Portuguesa Londrinense.
