Distribution
This species is limited to the islands of Kerguelen and Crozet in the southern Indian Ocean .
Description
He looks like a little female pintail .
The Latin name for the species was given by the English researcher and naturalist Alfred Edmund Aaton.
Subspecies
It forms 2 subspecies:
- Anas eatoni eatoni - Kerguelen Islands;
- Anas eatoni drygalskii - Crozet.
