Kazimierz Sykulsky ( Polish: Kazimierz Sykulski ; December 29, 1882 , Konsk, Russian Empire (now: Konskie , Poland ) - December 11, 1941 , Auschwitz concentration camp ) - blessed Roman Catholic Church , priest , martyr . In 1920 he was a deputy of the Constituent Sejm of the Polish Republic. He is among 108 blessed Polish martyrs who were beatified by Pope John Paul II during his visit to Warsaw on June 13, 1999.

Biography
From 1899 he studied at the Theological Seminary in Sandomierz , where on July 2, 1905 he was ordained a priest. From 1908 to 1911 he studied at the Theological Academy in St. Petersburg , Russia , which he graduated with the diploma of a candidate of theology . During the Soviet-Polish war of 1919-1921. served in the army as chaplain . In 1919-1922 he was a deputy of the Constituent Sejm of the Polish Republic. In January 1920, he served in the Catholic parish of St. Nicholas in the city of Konsk , since 1921 he was rector of the parish of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary in Radom . After the outbreak of World War II in 1939, he helped refugees and displaced people. On October 1, 1941, the Gestapo was arrested and subsequently deported to Auschwitz concentration camp , where he was executed on December 11, 1941. Its concentration number is 21962.
Praise
On June 13, 1999, he was beatified by Pope John Paul II along with other Polish martyrs of World War II . Memorial Day - June 12th .
