WHQL ( Windows Hardware Quality Lab ) - designation of a special laboratory of Microsoft , engaged in checking the compatibility of equipment with Windows operating systems. If the test passes the test, the mark is Windows Compatible, the drivers are signed with a special digital signature, often also called WHQL .
