Born in the Harbors of Sirion in the second half of the First Age . Elrond comes from the Three Clans of the Edine , although Eldar and Maiar are bleeding in his veins, as his ancestors were Idril Gondolin and Luthien , daughter of Melian . In 534 of the First Age, Earendil the Navigator went to Valinor for help against Morgoth, and after 4 years the sons of Feanor Maedhros and Maglor attacked the Harbor of Sirion, wishing to take possession of the Silmaril, which belonged to Elving. Elrond and Elros were captured. Maglor felt sorry for them and saved their lives. They say he took care of the children and raised them for a while.
