(2646) Abetti ( Italian. Abetti ) is a main-belt asteroid that was discovered on March 13, 1977 by the Soviet astronomer Nikolai Cherny in the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory and named after two Italian astronomers of father and son, Antonio Abetti and Giorgio Abetti [1] .
