History
In 1760, the attorney Maxim Pokhodyashin submits a report to the Office of the main board of factories:
... for state and national benefit, they searched Evo's cat in Tyumen County on the Ayba River, which flowed into the Balda River, and the latter Balda fell on the right side into the Pyshma River, from the mouth of this Ayba by fifteen miles, near the village of Zemlyanoy, where the distances are no more than three versts to the construction of the ironworks plant a convenient place. And not far from this place of iron ore mines. At which, for the structure, work and maintenance of that forest plant and other things, it turns out to be quite ...
But it soon becomes clear that Ayba’s forces are not enough for the “iron-working” plant, and the number of “reliable” iron ore mines was much less than expected.
In 1769 - 1770, Vasily Pokhodyashin, the eldest son of Maxim Mikhailovich Pokhodyashin won the bid for four years of wine supply throughout the Tobolsk province , for which he begins the construction of a new distillery. In his letter to the Tobolsk bishop Varlaam in January 1770, he wrote:
I have an intention at the newly built my Tyumen department distillery to build again a wooden church with my own cat. Which plant, with a distance from the city of Tyumen at 55 or 60 versts of the inhabitants of the factory, now for the first case already consists of up to a hundred souls, and from now on they will multiply incomparably and will be inhabited by houses ...
The name of the new church and the distillery under construction was called Ouspensky. Why the Vasily Pokhodyashin distillery was built on the site where M. M. Pokhodyashin intended to build a metallurgical plant is not yet clear.
In 1835, a stone two patronal church was built. Its main temple was consecrated in honor of the Assumption of the Mother of God , and the chapel in the name of St. John Chrysostom [3] .
In 1791, the plant was sold to the treasury, and convicts began to be exiled here. In the 19th century , the Assumption Paper Mill was built on the site of the distillery. The paper mill also functioned successfully during the Soviet period.

Education
Before the revolution of 1917, two schools functioned in the village: classes 1 and 2 - state-owned, and classes 3 and 4 - private, which was created with the support of the owner of the Yates paper mill. The latter was located in the house of Timofei Ivanovich Krivoshein, where his daughter Augusta Timofeevna Rychkova (nee Krivosheina) taught [12] , who was awarded the Order of Lenin for her services in education in the late 1940s. A. T. Krivosheina, after graduating from high school, was distributed to a school near the village of Pokrovskoye . However, a rumor was launched about the interest of G.E. Rasputin in young teachers. Together with her friend, a teacher from the village of Pokrovskoye, A.T. Krivosheina fled to her native village and her father went with a petition to Yates, who positively decided to establish a private school, giving his own funds for its organization.
