Story
A special paramilitary unit under the command of Lieutenant Quinn is sent to the forests of Cambodia. The reason for sending them to such remote places was a breakdown in communication with a top-secret experimental medical center, where scientists were developing biological weapons in the form of scorpions, which, penetrating the human body, parasitize there and, reaching the heart, turn the human being into zombies. Arriving at the location of the center, the special squad is attacked by these same zombies. Later, during the shootout and explosion, a terrarium with experimental prototypes in the form of parasitic scorpions is broken. The wounded lieutenant on the walkie-talkie requests additional forces.
After the arrival of help, the corpse of Lieutenant Quinn is taken to a military hospital in California. However, just before the autopsy, Quinn lying on the table suddenly comes to life and starts talking. It soon turns out that one of the scorpions penetrated the lieutenant’s body, however, due to his illness (leukemia), he didn’t reach his heart and is still alive somewhere in his arm area. Such a penetration had both advantages and disadvantages for Quinn: he now began to possess remarkable strength, and his body acquired the ability to miraculously regenerate; however, for all that, Quinn often began to feel the need for raw meat, and his blood changed color to green and began to smell foul.
At this time, other members of the special squad, whose bodies were also taken to hospitals, but completely different, were also infected. After the expiration of the incubation period, they turned into zombies - creatures that have only one feeling - hunger. In addition, after being bitten by a normal infected person, the latter is also infected and turns into a zombie. Lieutenant Quinn, military cook Judson and barmaid Holly have to find all infected and destroy.
