Settlement
They are mainly settled in the eastern part of the Chechen Republic in the cities of Kurchaloy, Shali, the villages of Stariye Atagi, Shaami-Yurt, Alkhan-Yurt.
Curly teip is a large Chechen teip that has Mount Kurshloi Lam in the Vedeno district. In the same area there are three settlements - Upper Kurchali, Middle Kurchali and Lower Kurchali. There is another mountain of Bersan Lam in Nozhai-Yurt district. It is named after the Kurchayan Bersan (Bersa Sheikh), who was the first Chechen to convert to Islam, and, thanks to his preaching mission, all Nokhmakhmakin teips followed his example [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] .
