Baltic Bees

Baltic Bees at MAKS-2009 .

Baltic Bees ( eng. "Baltic Bees" ) is a private aerobatic team, created in 2008. The group is based at Jurmala Airport ( Latvia ). Pilots of Baltic Bees perform on six L-39 training aircraft.

Content

History

The group was created in 2008 by KS Avia on the basis of Jūrmala Airport ( ICAO code EVJA). Initially, the group consisted of two aircraft, later - of four. In 2019, the group included seven aircraft.

Group Composition

For 2019, the group includes seven L-39C - training jet aircraft for training pilots of the Air Force . The aircraft are equipped with two tandem- mounted seats with the ability to eject at zero altitude , as well as equipment for the production of smoky tracks.

Each aircraft has its own name:

  6. Milda (YL-KSM)
