At the Physics Department of Moscow State University, he was known as an "expert" in American music and literature.

Back in 1987, already a graduate student at Moscow State University, Tagir met the famous Russian jazzman Alexei Kozlov, whom he advised on the use of computers to process music.

In the 90s, IT Co., under the leadership of Yapparov, decided to start publishing music CDs. The company “Melody” transferred Tagir Yapparov the right to publish all the records of Soviet jazz that were in the archives of “Melody”. To begin with, it was planned to publish 4 discs - a complete archive of the Arsenal group. Soon realizing that this needed a professional, Tagir invited the publisher - Andrei Feofanov, who was already well known in the music business.

Releasing these discs, Tagir Yapparov and Andrei Feofanov together founded the company Bohemia Music (BMR), which specializes in publishing jazz, classical, sacred and folk music. Andrey became the general producer of the company. Now in its catalog there are already 150 publications.
