Shadrinsk - a former military airfield in the Kurgan region . Located 5 km south of the center of Shadrinsk , in the village of Oseevo .

Initially, it was a training airfield of the Shadrinsk military aviation school of navigators , and after its disbandment from 1960 until the early 1990s, it was one of the training airfields of the Chelyabinsk VVAKUSH . It was based on the 909 Aviation Training Regiment and the 108 Aviation Regiment, which is armed with a squadron of Tu-124Sh and Tu-134S aircraft . Earlier, before 1974, the 909 IL-28 bomber with Rym-S and PSBN-M sights were part of the 909 wap.
In 1993, the 600th Military Transport Aviation Regiment , armed with IL-76 aircraft, was launched to the airfield from Kedainiai ( Lithuania ). During the first war in Chechnya, military units of the Ural Military District were transferred to the republic by the planes of the regiment.
In 1998, the 600th ATAP (military unit 78684) was disbanded, in the late 1990s, the airfield was abandoned, the concrete runway was dismantled.
On August 1, 2010, an air show was held on the dirt runway of the Shadrinsky airfield in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Airborne Forces of the Russian Defense Ministry. On August 15, 2010, an air show dedicated to the Day of Aviation of the Russian Federation was held with the participation of motorcycle paragliders , paratroopers and athletes, organized on the An-2 , Yak-18 and Yak-52 planes , on armored vehicles (MTLB), performance of four paratroopers acrobats Popova M .
