Puna teal [2] ( lat. Spatula puna ) is a species of birds from the family Anatidae [1] . Previously, it was systematized as a subspecies of a multicolored teal ( Spatula versicolor ).

Spatula puna -
Toulouse Museum Puna teal size 19 inches. He has a black cap hanging below the eyes. The lower part of the face and neck are creamy white. The lower part is painted gray, and the back side of the dark brown narrow stripes. The back, chest and bottom of the sides - light coffee with dark brown narrow stripes. His beak is light blue with black lines in the middle.
SpreadPune Teal is a permanent resident of the Andes in Peru , Western Bolivia , Northern Chile and the extreme regions of Northwest Argentina . It lives in large and small lakes of high mountains.
