When an implosive consonant is articulated, the vocal folds continue to oscillate during the bond, when the larynx descends together with the vocal cords and thereby increases the cavity between the vocal cords and the oral contour. If this lowering occurs too quickly, the pressure in the larynx drops even below external pressure, due to which the pressure drop in the lungs simultaneously increases. If the pressure in the oral cavity continues to remain below the external pressure, then when the bow is opened, air enters the oral cavity (hence the word (<in) is pleasing ).
