Biography
Born July 15, 1932 in the village of Kayarlyk of the Oirot Autonomous Region (now the Altai Republic ).
In 1957 he graduated from the Literary Institute. A. M. Gorky . Member of the Union of Writers of Russia . He worked as a correspondent for the regional newspaper Altaydy Cholmon , editor-in-chief, director of the Gorno-Altai branch of the Altai Book Publishing House, secretary of the Gorno-Altai City Committee of the CPSU , and a literary consultant.
1987-1994 - Chairman of the television and radio company "Gorny Altai" .
1994-2005 - Chairman of the Union of Writers of the Altai Republic.
Editor-in-chief of the literary and art magazine Altai Telekoy - Altai World. The creator of television broadcasting in the Altai Republic .
Creativity
Arzhan Adarov is the author of more than 25 poetry collections, poems , short stories , short stories , four novels , several dramatic works. His works are included in textbooks of secondary educational institutions of the republic. Poems by A. Adarov were published more than once in the central press - in the newspapers Pravda and Literaturnaya Gazeta .
The main works are “Earth Raised to the Sun”, “Snowdrop”, “Nomads”, “Witch Tree”, “Poems”, “Years and People”, “Purpose” .
He was engaged in the translation of Altai poets into Russian. In addition, he is known as a translator: he translated the works of Pushkin , Lermontov , Gogol , Yanka Kupala, Aitmatov , Furmanov , Jalil , Voynich , Markov into the Altai language . His own poems have been translated into many languages of the peoples of the former USSR.
Arzhan Adarov is the author of the text of the anthem of the Altai Republic .
