The list of cathedrals of Russia includes temple buildings located on the territory of the Russian Federation and belonging to Christian denominations ( Russian Orthodox Church , Old Believer Churches , Roman Catholic Church , Armenian Apostolic Church and Evangelical Lutheran Church ). Comments on each denomination are in the corresponding section.
A number of large temples are known as “cathedrals” - because of their size or historical significance, but if there has never been a bishop’s chair , they will be included in a separate list.

Evangelical Lutheran Church
On the territory of modern Russia there were no buildings with the status of a Lutheran cathedral, with two exceptions: the cathedral in Konigsberg (at that time the territory of Germany ) and the cathedrals in Vyborg (the Grand Duchy of Finland ). At present, the buildings where the bishops' offices of ELKRAS , ELTSER and ELTSI are located are also sometimes called cathedrals [16]
