He lived in Paris, participated in many French tournaments and championships.

Lazar is the author of more than 100 etudes , many of which have occupied high places in competitions. Was also a task . In 1928, he published a collection of his etudes and problems , Mes problèmes et études d'échecs, with a foreword by world champion Alexander Alekhin [1] .
