Learning curve

Learning curve illustration

Learning curve ( English learning curve ) - a graphical representation of the change in the speed of learning a certain knowledge or type of activity. As a rule, the ability to store new information in memory is maximal after the first attempts to master this activity, then the learning speed gradually decreases, which means the need for more repetitions for mastering the material [1] .

The learning curve also illustrates the initial complexity of learning something, as well as how much to master after the initial introduction.
