Windows Embedded POSReady

Microsoft Windows Embedded POSReady ( Windows Embedded for Point of Service ) - an embedded operating system for POS-terminals , kiosks, self-service systems. It has the advantages of embedded Windows Embedded operating systems, such as write protection filters, selection of components for installation, blocking pop-up windows, hiding boot screens, reduced license cost, long availability for ordering, etc. However, unlike Windows Embedded, Windows Embedded POSReady does not require special skills for installation and configuration, and also has the ability to ship without a preinstalled application. Like Windows Embedded Standard, it is 100% compatible with applications designed for desktop Windows.
