Darkness over Daggerford - an add - on (game module) for the computer role-playing game Neverwinter Nights , developed by Ossian Studios . The module brings to the game a new world map system, new music and much more. Originally conceived as a premium module for Neverwinter Nights , but the release was canceled a few months before the intended release. Ossian Studios completed the development and uploaded the module for free download as a modification .

Gameplay
The gameplay of the add-on is generally similar to the gameplay of the original game. However, some of its features, such as a world map or a castle that the player could use as a personal base, were designed specifically for Darkness over Daggerford. The player starts the game with a character level 8.
