Biography
From 1930 to 1933 he studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Latvia, showed interest in the visual arts. His education was described as follows: “I was lucky with the teachers: Conrads Ubans , Valdemar Tone , August Annuss , Karlis Miesnieks , Gederts Elias , Robert Wipper , Primane .” In 1942 he graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts, the workshop of figure painting under the guidance of Professor Gederts Elias, and received a diploma of the artist.

Creativity
He worked mainly in the field of everyday genre, widely used elements of satire and grotesque in his action-packed compositions. He painted portraits.
He had a peculiar style, combining surrealism and naive artistic style, using the established tradition of pointillism (brushstrokes) with the delicate pastel colors typical of such artists, while the post-impressionist pointillists sought to achieve this kind of image truth, and Bausch, who considered himself a realist , this is a means of giving the real basis a shade of unreality, fairy tale and mythicality.
Bauschenkieks also participated in the creation of posters .
During his lifetime, his works were exhibited in Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Russia, the USA, France and Australia.
