Story
The CIA Staff Assassin John Cunningham (Coburn) is a man without principles and morality. His boss, Ramsey (Meredith), who works undercover as a physics professor at the college, gives him a new difficult contract to kill three people in Europe: the first in Spain, the second in Belgium, information about the third will be provided later. On the way to Spain, he meets two women: the wealthy Englishwoman Sheila Metcaylf (Remik) and her friend Adriana (Palmer), and their friends, Maurice and Alexis. Sheila and John have a romantic relationship. Having completed the first two orders, Cunningham learns about the third goal. He must kill his former colleague, an even more unprincipled and cold-blooded liquidator, Michael Carson (Hayden). John for the first time in his life feels self-doubt and hesitates with the execution of the contract. Ramsey flies to him to insist on the strict implementation of the contract, but falls in love with Ariadne and abandons his bloodthirsty plans. The film ends with a fun picnic of two couples in love.
