Interpersonal relationships - a set of interactions between people. These relations are mainly based on the connections that exist between members of society due to different types of communication : primarily visual (or non-verbal connections , which include both appearance and body movements , gestures ), linguistic ( oral speech ), affective, and languages built as a result of the development of complex societies ( economic , political , etc.).
Human relations are fundamental for individual intellectual development , since thanks to them both small and simple societies (such as rural areas ) and large and complex (like megalopolis ) are formed. Human relationships imply a connection between at least two individuals.
The maximum number of permanent social ties that a person is able to comfortably maintain is called the Dunbar number . This number is in the range from 100 to 230, most often considered equal to 150.
