Khodorkovsky Readings - international socio-political conference. The official name is “Russian Alternatives”, however, both by the participants themselves and in the press is often referred to as “Khodorkovsky Readings”. Venue - Moscow, hotel Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya . Between July 2007 and May 2009, four conferences were held. The organizers are the International Historical and Educational, Human Rights and Charitable Society “Memorial” , the Institute of the National Project “Social Contract” , the Fund “Informatics for Democracy” (INDEM). The participants are political scientists, economists, journalists, politicians.

According to the organizers, the main task of the Khodorkov readings is “to contribute to the emergence of an intellectual community that can develop a development strategy for Russia in an innovative manner. A strategy that could be in demand by society. ” [one]
