Description
βThe flag is a rectangular blue cloth with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, bearing along the upper edge a red strip of 1/4 of the cloth, in the middle of the blue part is an image of a yellow flying gyrfalcon from the coat of arms of the region.β
Justification of Symbols
The flag of the district was developed taking into account the coat of arms , which is based on the historical coat of arms of the county town of Menzelinsk , highly approved on July 3 (14), 1782 , the description of which read:
βIn the upper part of the shield is the coat of arms of Ufimsk. In the lower one - a flying golden gyrfalcon, in a sign of abundance of such a kind of bird, in a blue field. β
The flag of the modern district testifies to the continuity of many generations and the preservation of historical traditions.
The honorary figure of the flag - a red stripe along the upper edge symbolizes the best qualities of local residents - hard work, strength, courage. She shows that everything that the inhabitants of the district achieved is done by their hands with special love and respect.
Blue color is a symbol of honor, nobility, spirituality, clear sky.
Yellow color (gold) is a symbol of abundance, stability, respect and intelligence.
