Description
βThe flag of the Mamadyshsky municipal district is a rectangular panel with a width-to-length ratio of 2: 3, consisting of three horizontal stripes: green (overall width 7/9 of the width of the cloth), a wavy white one in 1/10 of the width, and blue; in the middle of the green strip are depicted the figures of the coat of arms of the region: a yellow sheaf tied with a red ribbon and two white sickles on the sides, with tips to the sheaf β.
Justification of symbolism
The flag of Mamadyshsky district was created in view of the coat of arms , which was developed on the basis of the historical coat of arms of the county town of Mamadysh of the Kazan province , approved most highly on October 18 (29), 1781 . A true description of the historical coat of arms reads as follows:
βIn the upper part of the shield is the Kazanskyi coat of arms, in the lower part there are two silver sickles and in the middle of the golden sheaf of wheat in the green field, in the sign of abundance of this country of every kind of home.β
The green color of the field symbolizes nature, hope, spring and health.
Golden (yellow) sheaf is a traditional symbol of the unity of forces and spiritual aspirations, fertility and wealth. A bundle tied with a red ribbon also allegorically indicates an inseparable connection between urban and rural settlements that make up the district.
Gold (yellow) - a symbol of wealth, strength, generosity, stability.
Red color is a symbol of strength, courage, work, beauty and celebration.
Silver (white) sickles symbolize the agricultural orientation of the Mamadysh District and the industriousness of its population.
Water resources play a huge role in the life of the region, which is reflected in the blue and silver (white) stripes. The blue band symbolizes the Kama River and other small rivers. Blue color is a symbol of honor, nobility, spirituality. The silver bar allegorically points to the Vyatka River: one of the Vyatka names - Nokrat - means βsilver riverβ in Tatar.
Silver (white color) is a symbol of purity, perfection, peace and understanding.
