Geography
The Krasnovsky rural settlement is located on the left bank of the Seversky Donets River in the Kamensky District of the Rostov Region. 8 villages of the settlement are located on the territory of sand beams and steep shores. The territory of the settlement occupies 240 square kilometers, of which the majority are agricultural land. About 2500 hectares of the territory are occupied by forests with coniferous trees [2] .
History
Krasnovsky rural settlement was established in January 2006. On its territory there are comprehensive schools, village clubs, a house of culture, medical outpatient clinics, several libraries and feldsher-obstetric centers. Developing enterprises engaged in the cultivation of grain and vegetable crops, fruit and berry crops.
Small business has entered a phase of active development: food is being sold, carpentry is being made. Since 2008, a dairy has been operating on the territory of the Verkhnekrasny farm, which supplies its products - milk, butter, kefir and sour cream - both to the territory of the settlement and beyond. Enterprises grow fruit crops such as plums , cherry plum , apple trees. Their products take an active part in exhibitions and are awarded prizes. On the territory of the settlement there are 8 recreation centers. Forestry is developing on the territory of the Mikhailovka farm, with a history of about 60 years. Coniferous and deciduous species of trees are grown there [2] .
